Post-POL Reflection
Based on your POL experience and after hearing feedback from your teachers, what are you going to do differently as a student and as an individual next semester?
From all the feedback I got from my teacher in my POL I think something that I will do different is the way I do the things different and by saying that is why do I do them before I did the things just to have better grades or because I was in a team and if i screwed everyone else also was screwed for me but now I learn that I just only do the things for myself and do it that way because now I feel confortable with me because I feel better from the inside and I dont care any more if someone notices if I work or not because I am the only one who critiques myself.
What have you learned about yourself through this process? What new goals will you make for yourself? What areas do you want to improve upon?
I learned that I can control myself better when I am alone and no one is stressing me out to finish my work I learned that I am the only one who can say if I am doing good or not also I no one but me is the ony one who can say if I am doing my work or not and yeah maebe I have a slow rythm but I always end up finishing my work in less words I would say that I learned how to do myself.
Conditional pass narrative:
My growth as a changemaker this semester has been great because with my team I learned that making a change even when it's small it stills a change and there's a lot of people who really appreciates what you did also I think my responsibility it's better than it was some weeks ago because now I do more work than I was supposed to but at the same time my team don't even see that and they give me more work but i still comfortable with it. What I personally do for my community cohort was doing part of the website where I did the volunteer page and most of the recent pages and also the updates just like adding and taking photos to upload the there I also did a biography of Tommy Walker one of our consultants, that biography was on spanish and it described his life so well that now he practice spanish reading the biography I wrote about him I also did a lot more smaller thing throughout this time as you can imagine but those were just some of the things I did. I became an agent of change from the moment I was selected for the Paradise Hills cohort and they gave me my role Journalist , Being a journalist is very interesting because you are encharged of the define phase, in the define phase we were in charge of getting planned what we were doing for Paradise Hills ( our community ) , right now we are planned an event for christmas with the help of project reo were our responsibility was doing christmas ornaments for the kids so they could be able to decorate a tree in the day of the event. In my personally thought we are doing very well throughout this project because we never turn in work late and I think we are having a good project because our hard work. But answering the question how i'm a changemaker well I am a changemaker because I did a change for Paradise Hills and actually I have seen seen myself doing better but now I don't do that for other people now I do it for myself because I feel comfortable with myself , I noticed and yes it was hard to because yes you can compare with people right now to see if you are doing good or not but when there's no one else to compare with the only comparison that you will have is yourself and you are gonna be to only one who notices the small changes on you the intern changes but you notice them because you do it for your own not for other people who wants you to be better.
