This week we have learned multiple things but today I'm going to talk about hypermasculinity because this is the topic I decided to do my research on and then presented it I got to learn new things about hypermasculinity which is a psychological term for the exaggeration of male stereotypical behavior, such as an emphasis on physical strength, aggression, and sexuality after reading this in a more detailed way I realized that I suffered hypermasculinity, I don't have a problem at saying that I often follow those stereotypical behavior. Also I could relate many things we read on the article diving up the brain because after some research I got to know that these 2 things are connected because everything that happens inside us with the stereotyping is in our brain and not only for hypermasculinity there are thousands or even millions of things for example beauty standards or even feminism. Apart from that I also liked the field trip to the Museum Of Contemporary Art San Diego (MCASD) because this time I found more interesting the way we were introduced to the art pieces and also because I already had a knowledge of the art and how to read the descriptions but also found the pieces more interesting for some way, I still wonder about something but I know for a factor that my wonders will found their answers while we keep learning about contemporary art through this process, I am very excited for going back to the MCASD this friday and hoping to learn something new I could talk about next week.

This week I have learned a lot of thing I could make a simple list and give a description but I decided to explain from my favorite one to the one I found less interest in to and why, for the first and favorite thing I did this week I am going to talk about the museum of contemporary art in SD here I learned a lot of things plus it was very fun to be there, I learned how to read artwork descriptions , how to see the meaning of it and what everything could represent, from the colors to the shapes and even the way it is presented, for example we did an activity about Chile flag and we got to know what each color mean. For my 2nd favorite activity I will talk about the movie terra because I got to se how are we damaging our planet but because of survival and what we’ve all been making to the animals in our planet for example in 1 part of the movie it talked about how 200,000 animals were sacrificed for this “event” and for a second I thought about stopping eating meat but then I reflected and I won't because personal issues.
My least favorite and by this it doesn't mean I hated it or didn't liked it was the book Silent Hill by Rachel Carson, I liked the meaning of it and what it talked about and the way everything had a source of credibility behind it and I will say it was very similar to Terra but I will say that this will be the perfect book for someone interested in our environment. My experience about what I have learned this week is very interesting because after looking at the articles we read and the videos we’ve seen just like the reading Pleasure and pain social life or why teens have an evolutionary advantage and most important for me and my experience from this week the article Your Brain, excerpt from Brainstorm, the purpose and power of the teenage brain. I am saying that this one was more important for me because it was the one that helped me understand the most but with the help of the other articles was easier to understand why our brain worked this way, at the beginning I had ideas of why our brains did certain things and they were pretty accurate but not the same,a example I can talk about is that I often make connection between why do we do certain things and I just do them naturally because i’ve been thinking of that type of things since I was really young and this week I thought about why did people felt good about having small small success when other people is above them and in the video of how teenage brain worked they said that it was in our brain like default to feel good when we get small achievements after that I felt really weird because I often ask why do people feel that way, I will not consider myself like that but maybe I am like that and I just don't see it that way, I would like to learn more about how our brain makes certain types of decisions and the way it acts.
